Renowned comic book artist and Eisner Award winner John Cassaday has tragically passed away at the age of 52. The news was shared by his sister, Robin, on Facebook earlier today. According to her post, Cassaday had been admitted to the ICU in New York four days ago. While the exact cause of death is still unknown, Robin mentioned that “his organs and heart are functioning normally, but his brain is the main concern.”
The comic book community has come together to express their condolences to Cassaday’s family and friends across social media.
