Music legend Paul McCartney is hitting the road again. The former Beatles bassist has officially announced a new leg of his Got Back tour, with dates set across North America beginning in late September 2025.
The upcoming tour will see McCartney return to fan-favorite cities such as Atlanta, Montreal, Chicago, and Buffalo. He’ll also make long-awaited debut appearances in Albuquerque, NM, and California’s Greater Palm Springs area — a first in his decades-spanning career.
This marks McCartney’s first full tour in several years. However, the iconic performer recently took the stage for a trio of surprise shows at New York City’s Bowery Ballroom in February. These intimate concerts served as warm-ups for his appearance on SNL50: The Anniversary Special, where he delivered a moving medley of “Golden Slumbers,” “Carry That Weight,” and “The End” from Abbey Road.
In addition to touring, McCartney has had a busy year creatively. He recently announced his new book, Wings: The Story of a Band on the Run, a 528-page chronicle of the post-Beatles band Wings, set to release on November 4. Earlier in 2024, Wings also marked the 50th anniversary of their landmark album Band on the Run and reissued the rare live studio album One Hand Clapping.
