Notwithstanding rumors that Jamie Foxx had outbursts on the set of the movie, a source close to her claimed that the purported outbursts had nothing to do with Cameron Diaz retirement decision that is to leave the acting industry.
In 2018, she made the decision to stop acting, citing the fact that she had spent a lot of time and energy on it over the years and now wished to focus on other aspects of her life, such as her marriage and health. She had been one of the most successful and highest-paid actresses in Hollywood, known for her roles in films such as “There’s Something About Mary,” “Charlie’s Angels,” and “The Holiday.”
Diaz revealed her decision to retire during an interview with her friend and fellow actress Selma Blair. In the interview, she said that she had “actually retired” from acting, and that she was “literally doing nothing” at that point in her life.
She had previously appeared in the 2014 film Annie. But in 2022, she made a comeback to play the lead role in the aptly named Netflix action comedy Back In Action.
But perhaps that is all there is to it. According to a source who spoke to local news, “She hates being away from Raddix and these back-to-back 10-hour workdays have been much on her.” The surrogate-born daughter of Diaz, Raddix is the sole reason behind leaving such a thriving career.
More than anything else in the world, Cameron adores being a mother. According to a source, “She has already proven herself in the industry and has nothing left to prove to anyone.”
Raddix was born in 2019 after Diaz, 50, and Madden, 44, wed in 2015. Diaz announced her retirement from acting after realizing she is overstressed from work, just a year before the birth of their child.
Fans were shocked, however, when the “Charlie’s Angels” actress returned to the screen to co-star with Foxx, 55, in Netflix’s next action comedy movie, which is slated to arrive in theatres sometime in 2024.
