Avatar 3 On the Way: Here is Everything you Need to Know About!

Avatar 3 is already in the works, so fans will be wondering what happens to Pandora now that Avatar: The Way of Water is streaming on Disney+. So, this is everything we currently know.

James Cameron spent many years creating this universe after Avatar became the most successful film of all time. He also had plans for four sequels, the first of which, Avatar: The Way of Water, was released in 2022.

After the blockbuster Avatar 2, there is little doubt that there is still love for James Cameron’s Pandora, and anticipation for Avatar 3 and its subsequent adventures is at an all-time high.

Avatar 3 Release Date:

Avatar 3 will hit theatres on December 20, 2024, two years after Avatar: The Way of Water struck theatres, according to Disney. If nothing alters in the release timetable, James Cameron will once again helm the threequel, which will be followed by Avatar 4 in December 2026 and Avatar 5 in December 2028.

Avatar 3 has already been shot for the most part back-to-back with Avatar: The Way of Water, although the threequel isn’t nearly finished. Prior to the 2024 release date, star Zoe Saldaa recently stated that they are “70%” finished with the movie and would “go back this summer to finish it up.”

The director claimed that the threequel would investigate the original leads in more detail as well as go deep into new worlds and settings on Pandora.

Cameron has already confirmed that the adversary of Avatar 3 will be a “new villain… from Pandora.” In addition, he seems to imply that the antagonist will pose a more direct threat than the “faceless, military machine” seen in the prior two films.
