SAG Awards 2023 Winners List: “Everything Everywhere All at Once” Ruled the Event!

The 29th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards were held on 26th FEB, Sunday night at the Fairmont Century Plaza in Los Angeles. This award ceremony gives honor to some of the finest acting performances of the year 2022. The Screen Actors Guild Awards, also known as the SAG Awards, are awards presented by the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) to recognize outstanding performances by actors in film and television.

The SAG Awards are unique in that they are awarded solely by actors to their peers in the industry. The awards ceremony is usually held annually in January or February and includes categories such as Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role, Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role, and Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series, among others.

The SAG Awards are considered one of the major awards shows during the awards season, along with the Academy Awards, Golden Globe Awards, and Emmy Awards.

SAG Awards 2023 Winners List

‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’ dominated the whole event last evening with four wins, according to the reports. It lifted the best ensemble prize at the 29th SAG 2023 awards on Sunday. It also broke all the previous records of becoming the biggest film winner in the history of this event. This movie is flaunted in nearly every category. The film also lifts the ceremony’s top prize for outstanding performance by a cast in a motion picture.

This is a sci-fi adventure film that showed its victory with such significant momentum in the SAR Awards 2023 ahead of the Oscars set to be held on 12 March. All these indicate it is the clear prime candidate to win the best picture. It received four SAG awards in 2023 in all main categories which made it the most ever won by a single film.

The award ceremony was streamed on Netflix’s official YouTube channel.
