‘Superfly’ Actor & Rapper Kaalan Walker Sentenced To 50 Years of Imprisonment

Kaalan Walker, who is known for doing the film SuperFly, has been punished with 50 years to life in prison. The reason is quite shocking and the case has seen multiple hearings since 2018. He got this dreadful punishment following the raping of multiple women.

The 27-year-old rapper Kaalan Walker was imprisoned on charges fetched by four women and three teenage girls. According to a report, the Los Angeles County district attorney’s office said Walker holds “three counts of forcible rape, two counts of statutory rape, and two counts of rape by intoxication.”

Four years back in 2018, Walker had been arrested on these charges. But he got a release on bail. The actor also has television acclaim in the series In Contempt. He used to lure the victims using his social media presence and his connections on the platforms like Instagram and Twitter. He told them about having good connections with people that could help them in their modeling careers. This made Kaalan Walker sentenced for 50 years.

“The pattern of Mr. Walker is to make false promises and they bought it. … Each one of these women voluntarily made their own decisions,” defence lawyer Andrew Flier said, according to a report from NBC 4. “He did not force them. … It’s payback to Mr. Walker and we’re not going to let that happen.”

Walker also acted in the 2017 film Kings and shared recognitions with Halle Berry and Daniel Craig.
