Arizona Cardinals cornerback Jeff Gladney dies at the age of 25 in a car crash

According to multiple reports, ‘Arizona Cardinals cornerback Jeff Gladney died in a car accident at the age of 25, early Monday morning, 30 May 2022’. He was a first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Gladney’s agent, Brian Overstreet, declared that the former TCU standout died in a car accident. The details close to his death were not immediately revealed. However, later it was ascertained that the crash took place around 2:28 a.m. Monday morning.

A white vehicle was overturned when officers arrived. Dallas Fire-Rescue confirmed that two people — a male and a female, dead.

According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Department, the crash took between two vehicles. A white car was speeding and clipped his truck in front of it, losing control before hitting a beam on Woodall Rodgers Freeway in Dallas. The two people in the other vehicle remain uninjured.

Gladney played 50 games in four seasons for TCU, for which he was named first-team All-Big 12 in 2019 after his big season. He was supposed to be an irreplaceable part of Arizona Cardinal this season.
