Travis Kelce, the NFL star, reveals his unsuccessful attempt to meet Taylor Swift during her Eras tour. Despite crafting a friendship bracelet with his number for the singer, he couldn’t deliver it as Swift maintains a tight backstage security protocol.
Travis Kelce, the 33-year-old tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs, recently shared his experience of trying to meet Taylor Swift, also 33, during one of her stops on the Eras tour. Despite his status as a Super Bowl winner, the pop-star’s backstage area was off-limits, and Kelce’s plan to personally deliver a bracelet to Swift went awry.
In his podcast “New Heights with Jason and Travis Kelce,” co-hosted by his brother Jason, Kelce expressed his disappointment, stating, “I was disappointed that she doesn’t talk before or after her shows because she has to save her voice for the 44 songs that she sings.”
Anyone know how to get a bracelet to @taylorswift13? … asking for a friend 😅 @BWWings

Kelce was candid about feeling “a little butthurt” that his thoughtful gesture didn’t come to fruition. He had crafted friendship bracelets, a common feature at Taylor Swift concerts, and received several of them while attending. However, he had a special one made with his own number that he intended to give to Swift.
Explaining his intentions, Kelce said, “If you’re up on Taylor Swift concerts, there are friendship bracelets, and I received a bunch of them being there, but I wanted to give Taylor Swift one with my number on it.”
Playfully, Kelce shared with his listeners that he “took it personal” but gracefully accepted the circumstances.
Aside from his admiration for Swift, Kelce has no hesitations about embracing his feminine side, especially when spending time with his older nieces, Elliotte (2) and Wyatt (3), who are Jason’s daughters.
Kelce’s sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, shared with PEOPLE, “It’s very funny, Jason said in an interview that he thinks [the girls] might like him more than they like Jason,” and she laughed.
Describing Kelce’s role as an uncle, she added, “He is like the absolute best uncle you can imagine. I tell everybody, he comes to our house to visit, and the poor guy doesn’t sit on the couch because our daughters will be like, ‘No, no, you sit on the floor. We’re gonna do a puzzle. We’re gonna build blocks. We’re gonna do this, we’re gonna do that.'”
