Ariana Grande and Dalton Gomez have decided to end their marriage after two years, according to confirmed reports from Page Six.
Sources close to the couple, which include the renowned singer of “7 Rings” and the luxury real estate agent, reveal that they have been separated since January but have managed to maintain a remarkably friendly relationship.
Insiders state that the decision to divorce was a mutual one. “They reached this conclusion together,” one source shared. “While they had been facing challenges before January, they genuinely want to remain best friends.”
In a final effort to salvage their marriage, Gomez, 27, visited Grande, 30, on the set of the musical “Wicked” in London, but unfortunately, their attempts were unsuccessful, as revealed by the source.
Throughout the entire process, the couple has remained on good terms, supported by their friends and families who have tried to shield them from unnecessary hardships.
Speculation about trouble in their marital life began when Grande appeared at Wimbledon without her wedding band last weekend.
The last public sighting of the “God Is a Woman” singer wearing her ring was during Jeff Goldblum’s concert in London back in April.
The couple exchanged vows in a private ceremony at Grande’s Montecito, Calif., residence in May 2021.
The wedding was an intimate affair, with fewer than 20 guests in attendance. At the time, Grande’s representative told People, “The room was so happy and full of love. The couple and both families couldn’t be happier.”
Just a few days later, Grande shared the first glimpses of the cozy event, unveiling her elegant white Vera Wang wedding gown and a veil adorned with bows.
Gomez proposed to Grande in December 2020, presenting her with a pearl and diamond ring that held sentimental value. The pearl was sourced from a ring given to Grande by her grandmother.
The couple’s relationship began earlier that year, with their public debut in Grande and Justin Bieber’s music video for “Stuck with U.”
While this was Grande’s first marriage, she had previously been engaged to “Saturday Night Live” comedian Pete Davidson in 2018, but the engagement was eventually called off.
