Who Is Aria? All About Her Journey From Malayali Movies To K-Pop X:In!

Unquestionably, K-Pop is becoming more and more popular all over the world. It has had a musical and cultural impact on young teenagers. As the second Indian lady to be connected with K-Pop after Sriya Lenka, a member of the K-pop group BLACKSWAN, Aria, a member of the K-pop group X:IN, is making headlines.

The album “Keeping The Fire,” which was published on April 11, 2023, marked Aria’s debut. Five people make up the international girl group X:IN: two members are Korean, one is Korean-Australian, one is Russian, and Aria is an Indian.

The five-person music group X: IN includes Aria as a twenty-year-old Vocalist from Kerala. The group also includes Roa, Chi.U, E.Sha, and Nova. All of them are born between 1994 and 2003, according to Koreaboo. However, it has been declared that Aria is the youngest member of X: IN.

On March 8, 2023, the band made Aria the fifth and last member of the group official via their Instagram page. In the comments area, Aria’s admirers from Korea and India expressed their love and support for her.

At the popular Korean music programme Inkigayo, the group gave a performance of their first song. Other than Aria, X:IN has four other members: two Koreans (Roa and Chi.U), a Korean-Australian (E.Sha), and a Russian (Nova).

The fans showed their keen interest and support on to the debut record. After the album’s release, the band also thanked the viewers for their support. They declared that there would be many more albums and live appearances.

Who is ARIA?

Gauthami is Aria’s true name. She can speak English, Korean, Malayalam, and Hindi, according to Koreaboo.

Shriya Lenka was the first Indian K-Pop sensation from Odisha before Aria join it. Along with Brazilian Gabriela Dalcin, she joined the all-female band Blackswan last year.

She had previously been chosen to join the GBK Entertainment Group “MEP-C,” however she was forced to leave the group along with a few other members. During the 44th K stage yes or no competition in Korea, her official admission to the band was made.

‘Melvilasom’, a Malayalam film, is said to have featured her in an acting role. Soorya Krishnamoorthy, a renowned director in the industry, did the direction. As she has entered the group becoming the second Indian and only Malayali girl to join K-POP now, this has influenced many Indian girls to become a worldwide fame.
