The situation may get even worse with wind chill as low as -50F (-45C) in some parts as per the prediction.

Around 75 million people in 29 states are under winter weather alerts due to the expected Winter Storm in US. Some of the parts of the eastern US are predicted to experience record-low temperatures.

Minnesota’s governor Tim Walz states that the National Guard will be accessible to support motorists who become trapped in the blizzard conditions there.

Furthermore, the Utah Department of Transport issued a warning to morning commuters: “This is a reminder to stay home and limit travel if possible.”
