Rishi Sunak or Liz Truss – Who will lead Today? Results To Be announced Soon.

Finally, the day has come when the history of the UK writes down some new chapters. Who will be the next UK PM soon going to declare? The six-week-long tough campaign for the governing Conservative Party to choose a new leader of the UK will end now. The competition is huge between Rishi Sunak and Liz Truss. 

Both nominees have gone head-to-head in a dozen rallies up and down the UK in a try to win over votes, with the problem of the cost-of-living crisis as a result of soaring house energy bills and inflation dominating the program.

Sir Graham Brady — chair of the 1922 Committee of backbench Tory MPs, will declare the result of the contest on Monday at 12:30 BST (17:00 IST). 

Rishi Sunak or Liz Truss, who is going to win?

Liz Truss, 47 years old, wishes to become the third female prime minister of the UK. On the other hand, Rishi Sunak, 42, will make history by turning the first Indian –origin Prime Minister. Well, things would be clear with the announcement by the conservation party now. 

Per the projection polls, Truss might win the Tory race and thrive Johnson as the UK’s next prime minister. According to the UK Constitution, a day after the statement of the results, the sociable PM Johnson wills formally love his resignation to Queen Elizabeth II. The new Tory leader will be welcomed to form a new UK government.

On Tuesday, the day will start with a farewell speech by friendly Prime Minister Boris Johnson. On the ladder of his Downing Street office this is the last time before he is flown out to Aberdeenshire in Scotland for his spectators with the Queen to officially resign as the head of administration.

Later on, the newly appointed Prime Minister will come back to Downing Street to deliver the thanking speech before starting the job of announcing key Cabinet posts.
