Elon Musk tweeted a poll on 18 December, Evening asking people to vote on whether he should step down as Twitter’s CEO or not. People are gushing wholeheartedly to participate in this poll as Musk has always acclaimed that he would abide by the poll’s results.
In several follow-up tweets, Musk was clear about his decision and was serious about leaving it. He would make a vague threat about Twitter’s future if he is voted out.
“As the saying goes, be careful what you wish, as you might get it,” Musk tweeted.
From the time of buying Twitter for $44 billion and taking up charge of Twitter as its CEO in late October, Musk is enjoying the journey from one controversy to the next.
As of today evening, “Yes” is winning by a margin of 57% to 42% approx.
